Process Value Assessment

Process Value Assessment

What is a Process Value Assessment?

Within any project-based organization, processes are added, revised, and retained over time without any corresponding measure of their value-added components or impact on productivity. Typically, non-mandated procedures and processes are added with no regard to production of the end product. Duplication of effort and implementation of work-arounds become the standard rather than the exception.

Process Value Assessment is a cost and quality management tool that provides a value assessment of each activity within internal processes, identifying candidates for reduction or elimination of effort and thereby increasing the value added component.

Why should a potential client care?

Process Value Assessments identify areas of significant non-value added, non-mandated components within current project processes.  Process optimization leads to streamlined value added activities with significantly reduced cost and project cycle times. Streamlined processes, through reduction or elimination of non-value added activities, provide dramatic increases in productivity, fine-tuned resource allocation, and increased profits.
